Overview
Villa San Giacomo is an imposing building built in 1741. It is located in Liparlati, the oldest district of Positano, not far from the church of St. James and offers magnificent views over Positano, the Amalfi Coast and Capri. The villa dates back to a time when wealthy ship owners and important merchants built these majestic structures and adorned them with paintings, tile floors and frescoes, all done by local workers as a display of their success.
Guests of the villa will enjoy the 3500 square feet of terraces bathed in sunlight. All rooms offer the comforts that meet the standards of 5 star luxury and are equipped with a large bathroom and large terrace. The principal entrance is on the second floor but the house can also be accessed through a Mediterranean garden full of bougainvillea, lemon and orange trees, from which the staff makes fresh juices and the homemade marmalades served at breakfast. A perfect way to start a beautiful day.
